This baby is the fourth child born to my brother Byron and his wife Kjersta...and occasionally when I hold him, as well as other babies recently born to my brothers and sister, I feel those unfamiliar maternal inclinations stirr and swell up inside. Argh...I'm not even married yet. This isn't fair at all. But honestly, how could anyone not when a sweet little baby boy falls fast asleep across the belly?
I'm so toast.

We are all toast. There is nothing quite like a baby asleep in your arms, or across your chest. If I didn't need sleep, I think I might just hold my baby all night.
