This weekend I fulfilled a life long dream, well, not exactly life long, but at least college long...
Lets just say that untold hours of chilling out, four albums, seven years and one movie soundtrack later I finally went to go see my favorite musician live: the one, the only Jack Johnson. Wow, just saying that makes me wish he had a middle name, or that I knew his middle name. It was amazing. I was standing just about 15 feet from the stage...just close enough to feel the chillness and imagine how cool it would be to hang out in a living room with him and the band. Another life long dream of mine. Of course, I did have my camera in hand, but I opted not to take a picture of him because I felt it wouldn't do the experience justice. Just like how I didn't take a picture of the Mona Lisa when I visited Paris. Why take a picture? There are already millions out there, and frankly, people should just believe me if I tell them.
Some things I learned...Jack wrote bubbletoes for a girl from san diego...he loves peace (he said "I love peace")...he likes to call himself Ron Burgendy when he checks into hotels, and then laugh when people yell out to him "Hey Mr. Burgendy..."
I laugh so much when I think about him. Hey if I ever go back to Hawaii as a Sister Missionary, I am finding his family and I am teaching them the gospel!
Go Me!

GO Jones!!! I am so jealous!
LOL. Jones... I love that Jack loves Anchor Man. Or at least Will Ferrell's character. That is AWESOME.
