Emily, the do-it-yourself champ

Well, this is the moment you all have been greatly anticipating! After a few months of Dad helping me renovate the kitchen, I have been left to my own devices to finish the project. This week I had many firsts, and I feel so good about myself! First time using a wet saw (I did all the cutting), first time laying morter and ceramic tile (with a little help from my friend and parents), first time grouting (all by myself tonight) AND I even hung a door with only my muscles back on its hinges! Now, all I have left to do is put the toilet back on, put the appliances back in place, and put the base molding back on. What a transformation huh!
